Appearance
Handsome, dashing, gorgeous, beautiful! The very model for which perfection is measured!
More specifically, Robin has green eyes and curly brown hair, which he keeps at about ear-length. He looks vaguely Mediterraneans in appearance, though not overly so, and has likewise lightly tanned skin. He isn't tall, but he isn't short, either. He possesses a telling proclivity for the color green.
Personality
Charming, cunning, witty! Intelligent, soulful, miraculous!
Also, egotistical, rude, crude and occasionally downright perverse. He has little patience for others (or at all), because, honestly? Why isn't the spotlight on him? It should be. And Robin will do whatever he feels is necessary in order to right that horrific wrong. Launching into his catalogue of literally millions of stories is a favorite tactic, but who knows what he's in the mood for tonight? Robin will never be too hesitant to extol his plethora of uses and brilliances, innovations, anecdotes (wherein he is the centerpiece, of course) and opinions. He can distract, disarm and confuse nearly anyone with words, and thus it's all too fitting he end up a car salesman, no? He can sell ice to Inuits, and probably would, if it turned any type of reasonable profit. Likewise, while he can be well-mannered, he really has no patience or willingness to be; while he knows the difference between a salad fork and a soup spoon, he'll tell you last night's wild and crazy sexual encounter in graphic detail while using them.
And, as he will protest and explain, that is all there is to him.
Nevermind the loneliness, the fact that everyone dies except him, the fear of being left behind and the knowledge that eventually he will be, whether by time or other's tiring of him. Forget the memories of all the horrible things he's had to do for his survival, over the milennias he's lived. No one is innocent, and Robin is very, very guilty; this is a fact he lives with-- or possibly fails to live with-- every day. Never mind the compensation, the knowledge that he isn't, maybe, as great as he says he is; he's murdered before, and left others to die, all to selfishly ensure his own safety. Ignore the fact that he thinks himself unable to hold a monogamous relationship, anymore, though he will try.
Ignore that, for all his vehemently advocating his endless string of meaningless one-night-stands, a real relationship is what he wants. Ignore the fear of change, never mind the self-hate and self-pity, the selfishness and self-indulgence, the cruel touches and the cold streak. Ignore it all, and don't listen to him when he's drunk.
Never mind all that. He's just this fun-loving guy, you know?
Abilities
Robin is (really really) old, and so he has lots of practice in a few different fields. This is mostly your average petty larceny type deal (lying, stealing, pickpocketing, breaking and entering, burglary), but also branches into various social skills (seduction, smalltalk, bigtalk, distraction... did we mention lying?), survival tactics (he's handy with a sword, and keeping one concealed, likewise, fighting and defense in general, along with a broad knowledge of the occult) linguistics (in canon, he professes to know every known language on earth, and I doubt this a bit, but do believe from canon evidence that he at least knows most of the ones in current use, if only by virtue of being able to figure them out due to him being present when Indo-European was still the vernacular), and history (as he remembers it, though the version he tells you is often different than the version you learned in the history books-- this more having to do with him being the one to tell the story, and so make himself the star, than his version's actual accuracy).
He's also very quick and assured in movement; in one scene from the books, he stands while holding a drink, and manages not to ripple the surface of the liquid while doing so, seemingly without thought, for one notable example. But those are all learned skills; anyone with an eternity to spare could master them.
Specific to being a Puck, Robin is a wee bit quicker than the average human in terms of reaction time and movement, but nothing to make our draw drop-- you'd have to be looking for it to even notice. Robin is also highly resistant to poisons and chemicals-- he can still be affected, but it has to be very strong, and most likely, it'll just wear him out or make him sick rather than kill him. Robin is immortal, as you may already be aware, which means that he won't die of old age or fatigue, and likewise, any injury received will heal back to full strength in the time it would take a normal human to heal (ie, if he's, say, shot in the leg, as he was in canon, he'd still get injured like anyone else, and but it would be back to full capacity in the amount of time it would take a normal human to heal, unlike anyone else, where the bones would still be weak or wear down over time).
And falling into the realm of miscellania is his high tolerance for alcohol, ability to get it up in fifty-degree temperature water, gigantic wang, and has been known to talk his way out of (or in to) anything, within reason, of course.
Weaknesses
None! Robin is perfect in every single way, shape and form. Don't believe it? Just ask him.
Out of the realm of transparent narcissism, though, Robin has several flaws, most coming from the same place as the majority of his strengths-- his age. Robin is no Tolkien-esque elf, immortality isn't a gift, it's a burden. Not that Robin's looking to throw himself off a roof any time soon, but this eternal life business doesn't come easy, you know.
Firstly, Robin can't remember it all. How could anyone be expected to recall thousands and thousands of years of information? Where he was, what he was going millions of years ago-- Robin can't remember it all. Things start to go fuzzy after roughly 2,000 years, depending on the exact incident, and if anyone's been reminding him or not. As he says himself, he can't remember where he was born, or when. He's forgotten more of his life than he can remember. He can remember the highs and lows of his life, of course, but the details tend to slip away with time.
The solution for this? Lie shamelessly. After a while, that, too, fades; what was the truth, and what was the lie? But it doesn't matter, in the end. Eventually, that, too, is forgotten. Robin's also got a lot of personality weaknesses, regardless of physicality. He fears letting people get too close to him, since, won't they eventually die and leave him anyway? It's just not worth it. He's incredibly lonely, which causes him to vehemently deny that he's lonely and throw himself into parties and meaningless one-night-stands to prove it! These one-night-stands make him lonelier, of course (it's a very hollow thing, kicking some nameless faceless nobody out of your apartment, the morning after), which causes him to repeat this cycle seemingly without end. For all of his ego and narcissistic tendencies, he has a low opinion of his own moral worth; he's done a lot of unethical, if not downright cruel and malicious things, in his time, and does feel that guilt. As far as Robin's concerned, he's just not capable of being good, so he overcompensates relentlessly by telling everyone how fantastic he is, and throwing himself into activities he will only later regret. If he does bad things, he won't experience the inevitable failure of trying to be good, after all.
He's a sucker for attention, it distracts him from his loneliness, and he has a tendency to waltz into dangerous situations on a whim, simply because he knows he can get out of them, or at least, he feels he can. He doesn't like to plan ahead, though will, if pressed. He's disorganized. He tends to have this almost morbid habit of playing with fire, just to prove that he can and brag about it later. For all of his social skill, most people don't really like Robin for being Robin, they like him because he's amusing, entertaining, sexy or some other superficial trait, and, at his core, Robin knows this, and keeps entertaining. It's better than being alone.
