Danny Fenton-Phantom

Series: Danny Phantom

Gender: Male

Age: 14

Species: Human-Ghost hybrid

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: While he's still growing, he's not under height for his age, though he is a bit gangly. To make up for this, Danny tends to wear baggy pants and shirts. Danny's got black hair like his dad, and blue eyes like his mom. When he becomes Danny Phantom, his hair turns white, and his eyes green. Danny Phantom wears a skin tight jumpsuit with boots. His emblem is a flaming D with a P inside it. When he transforms, he's already wearing this outfit. Therefore he does not need to change clothes when he becomes a hero! Aside from being a hero, Danny tries to fit in a lot, and usually goes unnoticed for all his trouble.

Personality: Danny's got that typical teenager attitude; I could care less, what's this got to do with me, can I go now? Though, he does care about his family and friends a lot. Danny will do anything to protect those close to him, even throwing himself in the line of fire! Danny's got a typical teenaged male sense of humor, and tends to make bad jokes at innapropriate times. Being a media conscious American, he tries to keep up with styles and fads, and seems to follow some throughout the series. As Danny Phantom, he is the wise cracking, slightly overconfident teenaged superhero. As Danny Phantom, he can become what Danny Fenton is not, cool and admired. This leads Danny to become more outspoken and agressive as Danny Phantom, rather than Danny Fenton, who's just a weak nerd.

Abilities: Ghost Abilities!- Ghost Sense, Transformation, Flight, Strength, Invisibility, Intangibility, Possesion, Plasma hand beams, "Ghostly Wail" (a vocal blast of very destructive porportions), Ice power (hand beams/eyebeams).

Weakened state-I was planning on having him like he was at the start of the series. At the end, he had complete control of all his powers and was quite powerful. At the beginning, he could only fly comfortably, and becoming invisible and intangible wore him out. He would not be able to use his more powerful abilities, the Ghostly Wail and the Ice Power, though he would still be able to use a bit of his Plasma rays, though that would be very limited. Like in the beginning of the series, bein Danny Phantom for too long would physically wear him out and he would transform back into Fenton unconsciously

Weaknesses: Danny all too often gets to overconfident of his abilities and ends up screwing himself into a worse predicament. Sometimes he'll blurb stuff that he shouldn't know, or accidently help his enemy. Danny hates public showering, and it's often noted he'll stay much later after gym class to insure he'll be alone for a shower. Like any teen boy, he can be pervy at times, some times even using his ghost powers to sneak into the girl's locker room! As his powers are still developing, like he is, Danny can be overpowered by a strong enough force. Also, any kind of spirit dectecting technology or sense identifies him easily as he can't control his powers that well. His powers tend to react to his emotions, sometimes sending him through floors or furniture! Danny is, by nature, curious. His curiosity has gotten him into trouble before, and it's the reason he even has power in the first place.

Manhattanite or outsider? Outsider

History:Young Danny Fenton was just 14, when his parents, ghost hunters and researchers, built a very strange machine. It was designed to view a world unseen, namely the world of ghosts. When it didn't work, however, Danny's parents gave up on their ghost portal. Danny decided to take a look at the inside anyway. Once inside the machine, Danny accidentally set off a chain reaction that turned him half ghost! Danny, upon discovering his new power, decided to use it for good, by protecting his friends and family from various evil ghosts that were now coming to the human plane through the now working portal! After fighting various ghosts, Skulker, a ghost who was also a ghost hunter and wanted Danny as a trophy, Ember, a singer's ghost who hypnotized the population of Amnity Park with her music, and even the Box Ghost, hardly a threat, but has a habit of showing up everywhere there's boxes! At a college reunion of his parents's class, Danny met Vlad Masters, who turned out to be not only a half ghost like Danny, but still pined for his mother, who had chosen Danny's father over Vlad. Vlad is obsessed with Danny and his Mother. He tries many times to get them to be his family. While still much stronger than Danny, Vlad has been bested by him numerous times. As Danny kept fighting ghosts and kept developing his powers, more and more powerful ghosts kept appearing to try and defeat him, not to mention Vlad's various schemes to make Danny his son.Earth, however was facing a horrible crisis! An asteroid made of anti-ghost matter was closly approaching! Vlad, who had by then become the mayor of Amnity Park, revealed his identity as Plasmius, demanding a ridiculous ammount of money to deal with the asteroid, which the city grudgingly had to pay. However, Vlad was unable to do anything because of the composition of the asteroid, and it was up to Danny to save the world! Calling on every ghost from the ghost zone, he was able to make the Earth intangable, thus making the asteroid pass harmlessly through! After this great feat, Danny's identity was revealed, and he was made a globaly known hero! Finally admitting his attraction to his longtime friend Sam, who returned the gesture, the two fly off to whereever destiny takes them.

In Manhattan

Danny first woke up after flying off with Sam, who he then thought he dropped and possibly injured/killed.  He searched unsuccessfully for her, and wound up finding Ember instead, and promptly got his ass handed to him.  After it became clear that Sam wasn't around, Danny went about finding a proper place to sleep and ended up with a penthouse apartment.  He then accidentily aquired Tamaki as a roommate, after filling out a questionare out of boredom.  Danny became aquainted with Harry Mason when the older man got a cold and Danny volunteered to bring him soup and orange juice.  They talked a bit, mostly discussing Danny's abilities.  Once Tamaki's friends from his world showed up, he moved in with them, and Danny subsequently met Travis Touchdown.  They hit it off, and proceeded to raid a Target for Travis's game and Danny's show, successfully breaking the fourth wall all night long.  However, their EXTREME party left Danny with a killer stomach ache the next day.  Harry returned the favor of the soup by bringing him some Pepto Bismol, and then found out Danny was living alone.

And so began Danny's stay at St. Patrick's Cathedral.  Harry did not approve of kids living on their own.  Danny really didn't mind, especially after Big Mommy dropped a whale nearly on his old apartment building.  James Sunderland, the cathedral's first inhabitant, didn't really like the idea of another kid moving in there at first, but, that seemed to ease a bit when Danny brought him ice cream when he was laid up in bed.  Things wouldn't stay calm for long, however.

Rion and Lillia had attracted Birdman's attention to the Cathedral family, and Danny found himself of less and less use, not even being allowed to help fight off Birdman when he attacked!  This caused him to fall into a depression, back home he'd always been the one to take care of issues like that, or at least help.  Danny began to question his status as a "hero" while simultaniously wearing thin the patience of James, Harry, and Odd Thomas.

After Big Mommy's apparent "death" and James Sunderland's subsequent departure, Danny made a fatal mistake.  Birdman hacked through an entry of his, and he accidently mentioned Maria.  This, of course, got Birdman after her now.  After having to tell Harry and Odd so precautions could be taken, and, berated for his incompetence, Danny ran away, leaving a note to send Birdman after him if he showed up.

After a few days of living in a canned food warehouse, lack of proper food and heating took it's toll on Danny, giving him pneumonia.  He called for help on the network, resulting in Birdman finding him. Unable to do much besides keep himself conscious, Danny was force-fed beans, pistol whipped with a can of condensed milk, and nearly had his fingers broken.  As luck would have it, Birdman grew bored of him, and left him, but not before taking half the stock of canned goods.

Danny has found a new apartment recently, and is pretty paranoid that Birdman will come back and finish the job.  Which he did!  Well.  After a while, Birdman and Parano got bored of singing to him over the network, and decided it would be fun if they kidnapped him out of his apartment, which conversely Danny had made easy for them to find by painting his emblem on the door, tying him up, forcing him into some women's underwear, stuffing his face with nasty cake, and then throwing him in a stank filled kiddy pool.  Because his powers are affected by his emotions, Danny was only just able to get untied before making the long trek home, and passing out in the entrance way, where, Daniel Jackson found him.  The issue hasn't been brought up since, but probably will during some kind of lull.

Relationships

Suou Tamaki- Danny unknowingly filled out a questionaire and recieved Tamaki as a roommate.  Go figure.  He doesn't really mind him, but he does believe Tamaki's behind the tragic death of his first DS.

Harry Mason- Danny made him soup when he was sick!  He figures Harry's ok.  And a lot less crazy than his dad.  As time went by, he came to see Harry as a sort of surrogate dad, and now really hates that he went and screwed things up so bad for him.

Travis Touchdown- They know each other's canon!  Yeah, Tucker convinced his parents to get the game, go figure.  They raided a Target to get Travis's game and Danny's show.  Shush, my brother got GTA Vice City at 14, it's entirely plausible!

Ember McClain- They share lame back and forth banter these days, as they're both now aware of how weak they've gotten.  He's still ticked she beat him when he first arrived.

Maria- Wishes they'd met under different circumstances, but figures she's ok.  Plus she's got nice boobs.  Now hates himself for putting her in fatal danger.

James Sunderland- Exchanged names with after James fell off a roof.   Looked in the sewers for Stumpy for him.  In which he promptly fell into the stank water.  He's still waiting for an apology on that. (Like he'll get one).  Seemed to get along better with him after getting the older man some ice cream.

Nolan!Joker, Harley Quinn, Harvey Dent- DO NOT WANT SHOOTING PLZ.

Odd Thomas- Danny and Odd talked quite a few times, and, when he was feeling useless, Odd was the one who would explain the adult's reasons for keeping him uninvolved.  Danny feels horrible about the screwup he made, and Odd didn't really help matters by pointing out the obvious with a billbord metaphor.

Birdman-  Hates him for attacking the cathedral and family, mutilating Rion, endangering Lillia, and contacting him on the network.  Also, he calls Danny "Dannyboy" which he utterly despises.  After his first encounter face to face with the Galerian, Danny's much more intimidated by him now.  Not to mention there's the subject of a suppsed dinner date....

Rion Steiner-  Danny and Rion's relationship is ridiculously awkward.  Starting with Danny trying to comfort Rion and get him off his drugs that he didn't know keep the guy alive, and Rion trying to comfort Danny on Halloween when he drank the laced tea and witnessed the alternate reality!deaths of his family and friends for a THIRD time.  Because neither knows the full story behind said situations, the whole deal was a bit confusing for both (I assume on Rion's part anyway).  It's not like Danny doesn't care about him as a friend, it's just a really, really awkward relationship they have at this point.  Teens.

Parano-  Oh lord.

Daniel Jackson-  While Danny definitely needs adult influence, he thinks Daniel is pretty darn overprotective, especially since they've only just met...
