Since his arrival in Manhattan Axel has kept fairly quiet, aside from a few small aberrations like flirting with Kairi and attempting to blow up Big Mommy. He mainly seems concerned with surviving, though if he must die he’d like to do it in as glorious and fiery a way as possible. Although, as he’s quick to remind everyone, it was originally Loz’s idea, Axel more or less masterminded the plot to attempt to destroy Cloverfield using bombs that he’d found in a secret room in an abandoned gun store. When the plot led to the Big Fuckin’ Attack Axel was quick to skip town, heading with Roxas and Kairi to the largely unpopulated uptown ahead of the lynch mob he predicted would follow. The lynch mob, however, quickly lost stream, and now Axel is a voluntary exile, keeping Roxas company.

Relationships

Roxas – Axel’s main squeeze spiky-haired doofus best friend, whatever that means. The kid drives him crazy almost as much as Axel drives Roxas crazy, but he’s the one person to whom Axel would stay loyal through thick and thin. He reminds Axel of having a heart, something he wouldn't trade for anything in the world.

Sora – Axel’s…conscience? Sora is a good influence on Axel, who seems not to want to disappoint the Keyblade Master by, like, killing people and stuff. He even got Axel to apologize to Kairi for that whole kidnapping thing.

Kairi – Axel likes Kairi. The extent of said liking is debatable.

Naminé – The little witch helped Axel get into Twilight Town to see Roxas, and as a result Axel mostly leaves her alone. He even occasionally warns her about Marluxia.

Marluxia – Axel is not a fan.

Freudia – Another girl Axel seems to like a great deal. He flirts with her whenever the opportunity arises, in spite of the fact that Freudia was once determined to murder him painfully.

Vincent – This guy’s way too serious, but occasionally useful.

Loz – He seems decent, if not particularly bright.
